How to add excess text onto a new page in columns

Click the text box so it highlights in blue and place the black line cursor at the bottom of the recipe but within the guide.

Hold and press and move your pad down to highlight the text that you want to place in the right column.

Next press Ctrl X (Command X if mac) to cut the text.

Next press Ctrl V (command V for mac) and the cut text is placed in a new text box on the top left of your page.

Next, hover over the blue line of the new text box until a thick black cross with arrows appears on all four sides. Press and hold down your pad and move the text box over to the right column.

Once the text box is in the right column if the text box is too wide and goes beyond the guideline, click the text box so it highlights in blue.

Hover over the small blue square on the right of the blue box so that a black arrow appears as per the image below. Press and hold down and move the text box in until it is overthe guideline.

Next, if your recipe is too long and needs to go over two pages, first click the thumbnail (as indicated in the image below) so it highlights in yellow. Then click the plus "+" in the top symbol bar to insert a new blank page.

Then you can repeat the process from the beginning of this article.
