How to place an order for printed books and ebooks
1. To place an order for printed books, an ebook, or both, go to your dashboard and select Place order.
2. Select Print only or Print and ebook or Ebook only.
3. Choose the country you reside in and add the post or zip code. The currency should already be preset to the currency you signed up for on your chosen package (except for the Starter package).
4. Add the number of books you would like to print unless you chose ebook only.
5. Choose the cover type. *If you are printing less than 200 books Fabric hardback is not available.
6. Your book is already set to the size template you originally chose and cannot be changed in this view.
*If you wish to change the size, contact us before completing your order. Depending on the original book size, it is best to change to one of the following sizes, otherwise, you may need to resize images and re-edit text if you change to any other size.
A5 > A4 > Small Portrait > Large Portrait
Small square > Large SquareSmall Perfect Square > Large Perfect Square > Coffee Table
7. Your inside pages are already added. Pages increase in increments of 4 pages at a time.
*As per the example below if your book is 43 inside pages it will round up to the next book size available.
*The extra blank pages will be added to the end of your book that you can move somewhere else in your book or add a notes page. If you are on the Premium or Community package, as part of your package our team will do a design check of your book and will use the extra pages as part of the index or create a nice notes page.
8. Coated versus uncoated
Coated paper has a satin-sheen finish. Uncoated paper has no shine and the appearance of recycled paper and is ideal to add handwritten notes on this type of paper.

9. Light, medium or heavy paper, which one is right for you?
Light paper is around 120gsm and is the most economical.
Medium paper is around 150gsm and is the most popular choice.
The heavy paper is the thickest paper we offer and is around 170gsm.
*If your inside pages are 150 or more, we recommend choosing medium paper when printing PUR bound.

10. Adding an ebook
* If you order 5+ printed books, you can choose one of 3 ebook types free of charge. If you order 50+ printed books, you can choose 1 to 3 ebook types free of charge.
*If you choose PDF or EPUB (which we can also convert to MOBI) then you will also need to choose the single or 2-page view.
11. Confirm book cost, printing time and binding
Turnaround - Depending on your order, you may be able to select faster shipping or printing turnaround. (estimated only but a good indication and are normally quite accurate)
Binding types - Pur-bound, section-sewn and wire bind. (section sewn becomes economical when you are printing more than 200+ copies). For more details about the difference in binding types click here.

Confirm to proceed to checkout.
14. Finalise order details
Step 1, add your name, organisation (if applicable) and phone number unless you have already added these details in your dashboard account. Your email is already added.
*Comments
If you have any instructions, add them in the comments box and we will respond accordingly.
*Reprint - IMPORTANT
We save the artwork from your previous order. Selecting reprint means that you have made NO changes since your previous printed cookbook order.
If you select this option, if you did make any changes they will not be in your reprinted book.
If you have made changes since your previous order, no need to tick the box, your book will be treated like a new order.
Step 2, add the shipping address.
Step 3, the address will automatically display the same address as the shipping address. If you want your invoice to have a different address you can add the details in here in step 3.
Step 4, view your cookbook order. Click Place order if you are happy to proceed.
Click pay now. You can make payment via credit card or direct debit.
Confirmation will be sent to your email address.
