Checklist for inside pages prior to publishing

1. Check text is within the safety guides

Check that all your text and recipe text are placed on or within the safety guides. This applies to all four sides of your page.

Check that you have replaced any "dummy" text including your introduction/foreword page with your own text.

If you cannot see your guides view the image below showing you how to show them.

2. Check you have the CREATE COOKBOOKS "THEME"

If you cannot see your guides, this is because you may have changed the THEME in your layout.

Before placing your order, contact a team member and we can re-add the Create Cookbooks master theme.

3. Image placement

Make sure you have placed personal images and any images from our library on the page, NOT as a background.

Adding photos as a background will stretch the image and our design team are unable to edit to check the image or convert any images from our library to the high-resolution version.

4. Index

Included in the Design Check for Premium or Community members, a team member will add an A-Z index for you after you place your order.

Leave a few pages for this.

As a guide, leave one blank page for the index if you have a total of 50-75 recipes, 2 pages for 75-100 and 3 pages for 100-125 and so on.

Instead of an A-Z index, if you would like to feature in each chapter, a team member can add the list of recipes in the order that they appear in each chapter. If you prefer this, then you specify this in the Comments/Instructions box when placing your order.

5. Create Cookbooks' index generator

The index generator captures each recipe title that has the same font type and point size.

It will also add the page number alongside the recipe title in the index.

6. Contents

Create Cookbooks will complete your contents page at the front of your book.
