How to send your recipes for our team to type

This is for users who have placed an order for our team to type the recipes on their behalf. To request this service, in your dashboard menu, select Do my cookbook.

If your recipes are in a word document, you can email them to support@createcookbooks.com

If all, or some of your recipes are on recipe cards, including recipes from magaazines or handwritten recipes in an old journal, we highly recommend that you scan them if possible. Please follow the instructions below. If not, scroll down for alternative way to send them to us.

1) One scan for one recipe

2) Make sure the scanner is set to 100dpi

3) Make sure the recipe is not upside down

4) Make sure all of the recipe is scanned and not cut off

5) Create a folder on your computer for each chapter you are doing in your cookbook and add all the recipes relevant for that chapter

6) Put all the folder into one new folder

7) Follow the steps below showing you how to send us that folder.ook

Alternatively, you can take photos of your recipes. Please follow the instructions below.

1) Take one photo for one recipe

2) Take the photo in natural day time light and try not to have any shadows casting over the recipe

3) Make sure the image is in focus so we can read the recipe.

4) Make sure all of the recipe is within the photo frame.

5) Please do not use a flash

6) Create a folder on your computer for each chapter you are doing in your cookbook and add all the recipes relevant for that chapter

7) Put all the folders into one new folder

8) Follow the steps below showing you how to send us the folder.

In your URL go to - www.wetransfer.com

Us the FREE upload version by clicking - I just want to send files as per the red circle in the image below.

The following page will appear as shown below. To the left where the plus symbol is, select to upload a folder.

Add the one folder from your computer.

Add email support@createcookbooks.com

Type your email

Add your full name as per your account.

Select Transfer.

You will received a verification code in your email

Once verified, it will start transferring.

We will receive a link via email.

Make sure you keep your screen open until it is fully transferred.

Once we receive transfer via email, we will confirm that quantity of recipes to be typed is as per the order you have placed.

We need around 5 workings days to complete the task. If we do need longer, we will let you know.
