How to change a background colour

In your layout template, in the thumbnail view of your pages (to the left), click on the thumbnail so it highlights in blue, right-click and select CHANGE BACKGROUND.

The background pop-up box will appear. Select the COLOUR dropdown box so that the colour palette box appears. Select from the solid colour palette.

For example, on this image orange has been selected to show how it appears in your layout.

You can also choose GRADIENT for a colour effect.

You can select CUSTOM and add a HEX colour code.

You can also select the custom drop (drop symbol displayed after the custom colours).

Then move the drop magnifying circle over the area where you want to create a colour swatch.
