How to create curved text

What is a curved text generator?

A curved text generator is a tool that allows you to create text that follows the contours of a shape or curve. This can be useful for creating unique chapter headings, or design headings around images. Click on the curved text type that you would like to add to your cookbook.

Features of the curved text generator

You can adjust the curve, spacing, and font size. Choose from over 1000 google font types. You can choose from a wide range of fonts and colors, and offer the ability to add shadows or other effects to your text. You can also adjust thecurve, spacing and font size.

How to use the curved text generator in your designs

First click the BACKGROUND button and select TRANSPARENT

1. Next go back to TEXT.
2. Click the curved text type. See example below.
3. In the TEXT section type the text you want.
4. Select the FONT type.
5. Move the SIZE bar to the fill the space
6. Select FILL and choose the text colour
7. Decide if you want a SHADOW for your text. If not, UNTICK where it says SHADOW.

Next, for print quality you will need to increase the scale to 500%. This is to ensure the text is high quality.

Select DOWNLOAD. (Be careful not to select and AD download button).

Choose PNG file.

Go back to your google slides layout. Go to the page where you want the curved text to display.

From the menu select INSERT > UPLOAD FROM COMPUTER and select the curved text PNG file.

Position the image on the page. To make the image smaller or larger and still keeping the image in proportion, click the image so it highlights in blue. Place the cursor over the small blue square, top right of the blue box so a black arrow pointing outwards appears. Using your pad, move outwards to make the image bigger and move inwards to make the image smaller.
